What I FearI was sixteen when the doctors first told me I wouldn’t live past my seventeenth birthday. You’d think I’d remember that day in the most vivid detail, but strangely enough, that isn’t the case. That day is actually rather foggy, as though someone had stretched a piece of gauze over my eyes and shoved cotton balls in my ears.
